Other staff in the home include a Residence Manager, a part-time cleaner, a part-time laundress, and a weekend Housekeeper.

The Private Chef will be responsible for all culinary requirements for a family with two school-aged children in the Forest Hill neighbourhood of Toronto. The Chef must be culinary trained, be able to prepare food ranging from vegan to Mediterranean, manage event planning and execution. The Chef should have experience with both vegan and kosher cooking. The Private Chef must be child-friendly and adaptable to both formal and informal settings with excellent organization and communication skills.

The schedule is breakfast lunch, and dinner. Dinner is heat and serve and the family helps themselves. Breakfast is the important meal of the day and is done buffet style. Lunch is casual and occasional.

Opportunity for an experienced Private Chef to work for a  Toronto family of four (two parents and twin toddlers). The Chef should have a background in cooking for people with severe food allergies. One family member has celiac disease, and another has severe dietary limitations. Given the children’s young age, the Chef should ideally have experience cooking for young children, including an understanding of how to prepare food safely to prevent choking hazards for little ones.

The family needs a head Chef to manage and a culinary team independently. This position could include sourcing and collaborating with other chefs if/when travelling in other countries. For now, it’s based in Toronto. There is a Sous Chef that is working full-time and tackling the children’s food. Given the scope, they need a head Chef who can lead and manage a team on their own.

Good opportunity for a Nanny Housekeeper with newborn experience. The focus will be on the newborn, with a secondary focus on general housekeeping of a very manageable home. The Nanny Housekeeper should have experience in all areas of newborn care--feeding, bathing, bottle sanitizing, diaper changes, activities that promote cognitive and motor skills, etc.
